mocht je het gemist hebben;

Collaborations: Oliver Lieb & Jimmy Van M as The Audible Suspects will be released February 27th on Bedrock on CD, digital download and in a limited 12" vinyl run. Scroll down for a preview!

Both Oliver as Jimmy can look back on a life of achievement in the worldwide house and techno community. Both have been releasing numerous groundbreaking tunes, remixes, and mix compilations since the nineties and 00's: Jimmy is responsible for the hugely brilliant Balance 010 (2006) and also dropped a very convincing Bedrock compilation five years earlier. Oliver Lieb has been destroying floors since the 90s when he released and performed under his now legendary LSG guise, which spawned classic belters such as the mighty Netherworld and Curious amongst others.

The Audible Suspects was conceived after Jimmy invited Oliver to the US many years ago, which gave birth to their friendship and now this collaboration:

“After my break from producing, I was slowly getting back to working again and one of the first steps was to care about my online presence, Facebook etc," says Oliver. "I added Jimmy, making contact again and soon we talked about working together on some projects. and quickly had the idea of doing a compilation. Like my monthly podcasts, I wanted to gather together new, interesting music from well-known and more underground or undiscovered people and focus on the techy side of things, which actually is my main playground. So, our collaboration is based on grooves and interesting sounds, as well as melodies, that don’t just aim for big commercial success but more for some exciting trippy development of audible space.”

Their first commercial mix as The Audible Suspects has become an intense and mature trip through supersonic house and techno, with occasional glows spacious progressive soundscapes gently woven into the flow. Across the tracklist you'll find brand new cuts from Phil Kieran, Joel Mull, Daso and Oliver Lieb to name but a few.

The album can be ordered online now at the Bedrock shop for just GBP 7.99. We have a full review for ya available soon, but we can already reveal that this one will be well worth your cash...
