Noel Sanger
"Long Way Down"

In his System Recordings debut, "Long Way Down," Noel Sanger continues the winning streak begun last year with the launch of his Dissident Music imprint, releases on labels such as Armada, Baroque, and Curvve, and remixes for such global dance luminaries as Lustral and the Flash Brothers. In 2007, Noel's productions have enjoyed support from the likes of Armin Van Buuren, Paul Van Dyk, Tiesto, Judge Jules, Matt Darey, Markus Schulz, Marco V, Roger Sanchez, Andy Moor, Jody Wisternoff, and many more, while his DJ schedule took him throughout North America numerous times and even across the Atlantic.

"Long Way Down" is a tough progressive bit of disco-tinged electro overlaid with an emotional and memorable vocal. Tight house beats provide the foundation upon which retro-synths and pad stabs work their dancefloor magic, propelled by booming bass and clever edits. Noel's Dirty Mixes follow the same formula with just a touch more heft in the beats and a more solid electro feel, leaving the melodic bits out till the end. "Long Way Down" is yet another winning groover in the growing Sanger legacy, destined to be rocking the world's dancefloors for some time to come!

:lol

Yeah those were the days. But Noel already made a ton of kick ass underground tracks for 15 years. Not to mention all of the breaks tracks and projects done under aliases. So why not try something new? (Y)

I mean who cares he put out about 20 classic underground tracks, more than a lot of artists. Not everyone has a trust fund, If he wants to make a little cash to support his family, I think he has he street cred to do so. + Its not anywhere near as commercial as half of the other mega djs productions.

I was listening to this again over the weekend and Noel's music continually blows me away. I love how he chops up the vocals and sprinkles them over the song. I asked him about it and he was switching between PC and Mac to write this track. Some effects could only be achieved on PC and some could only be done on Mac.
