Hot on the heels of an amazing 4th Birthday event, another hot party at Club NL, Amsterdam looms. Floorplay presents a special one-off record release party in conjunction with legendary UK label Sexonwax. On the decks on the night will be Omid 16B, Paul Sparkes and the return of Jerry van Schie.
The record is the Break U Down EP, produced by Paul Sparkes. This international DJ/producer is currently making waves with his productions. July 28th is the release party, with the package hitting Beatport a week later (6th August). The EP will surface on Omid 16B's seminal British label, and what better way to mark the occasion than to throw a release party in Amsterdam's most intimate house club.
This is not the first time Omid has played for Floorplay; the DJ/producer headlined a gig last year in Amsterdam at the same club, to the delight of all present. This DJ really knows how to build a set and to drop the right promos, productions and exclusives at the right time.
Omid has been running Sexonwax and Alola for over a decade, and is also an esteemed producer in his own right. Omid has recently had tracks out on quality labels such as Bedrock, and continues to DJ globally. Omid has been responsible for arguably some of the UK's finest deep and tech house tracks, including Driving To Heaven, Rain and Same As You.
This is the first of a slew of releases for Paul Sparkes, who also has tracks forthcoming on Baroque Records (UK), Babylon (UK), Ready Mix (Canada), Flappers and Ban-off Music (Italy) in August and September.
Jerry van Schie makes his return to the Floorplay turntables with a special set which always has a progressive and deeper twist. Jerry is finding himself more and more in demand for DJ gigs and always consistently brings the right tracks, delivered in a quality way.
