van Nick zijn facebook. Interview over hun B2B gig's
Here's an interview Hernan & myself did ahead of our party in Bulgaria
1. How did the two of you meet? Do you remember your first impression of one another?
I had heard great things about Hernan as a dj when he started in Argentina and we met while I was a resident at Cream in Liverpool.
2. When was the first time you played back to back?
We first played B2B in Buenos aires I think, at Creamfileds and it just worked perfectly together
3. Most memorable gig you two played b2b and why?
We have had some great ones, playing classics at Creamfileds BA for instance, or San Francisco this year, but I think the best so far was ADE last year, a packed club and Hernan just played brilliantly!
4. How do you play together? Do you talk about the gig before each performance or you do it on instinct and without clear arrangements?
We play 3 each as a rule and it works very instinctively, I have huge respect for him as a person and as a dj, we follow each others lead and believe me, it is rare to find someone that works well with.
5. Whose Masters Series is better – Nick’s or Hernan’s?
Hernan's
6. Both of you have played Cacao Beach before. How have you changed as people and artists since the last time you were in Bulgaria?
These days there is a huge cross section of grea music, we will cover everything from Deep House to Techno with a heavy dose of modern underground progressive music.
7. Which were the last tracks that brought tears to your eyes?
Kolsch "All That Matters" last year was a special one
8. How can an artist stay relevant without employing massive media exposure, remarkable visuals and a keen taste in commercial EDM today?
By staying true to your musical taste and building a strong following
9. You are playing along with Guy Gerber, how do you relate to him?
Guy is a fantastic artist who I admire strongly, it will be great to have him on the bill!
10. Which are the other artists you enjoy listening to lately?
Guy J , Loco Dice, Betoko and many more
