We focussen ons natuurlijk al op ons 5-jarig bestaan met Danny Howells in mei, maar laten we niet vergeten dat we deze maand ook niet een onaardige editie hebben. Als gast hebben we namelijk Spesh (van Jondi & Spesh) van het beroemde Looq Records uit LA.
Daarbij doet Paul sparkes de warm-up dit keer en mag ik de laatste 1,5 uur voor me rekening nemen.

Following a regal 5hr set from resident DJ and founder Paul Sparkes last month, the organisation is excited and delighted to welcome this month's headliner, Spesh.
Spesh is renowned as being one half of Jondi & Spesh and is based in San Francisco. The dance music production and DJ duo have turned into a series of hot singles that have found favour with the likes of John Digweed, Sasha and Hernan Cattaneo. The duo went on to sign tracks to such seminal labels such as Bedrock, Mechanism Records, Dorigen Music and Groovedelic. Notable albums include Tubedrivers, We Are Connected and The Answer and today Spesh continues to hone their futuristic and forward thinking sound from their fully-equipped studio on shores of the Pacific Ocean in between his hectic global gigging schedule.
Spesh founded his own record label based on the West Coast of America, Loöq Records, which is revered worldwide, and also finds time to host Qoöl, a weekly event in the heart of his native San Francisco.
Also on the bill sees capable resident Paul Sparkes. This British-born DJ/producer will bring his unique brand of tech house to the fore on the night. Sparkes has recently signed a 3-track EP to Nervous Records in NYC, and recently performed at the SXSW festival in scorching hot Austin, Texas.
Jerry van Schie (Groovecollection, NL) continues to consistently deliver his regular sets for the Floorplay faithful. Jerry takes his place on the lineup for this special edition of Floorplay during the festivities at what will be one of the Floorplay highlights of the year.
