Dana Bergquist & Peder G: Sprint EP

1. ‘Sprint’
2. ‘Pace’

Dana Bergquist & Peder G bring Swedish flair to the Urbantorque roster with two cuts that exemplify house music at its best. ‘Sprint’ and ‘Pace’ are two examples of vibrant electronic music that move both soul and feet. Thoughtfully constructed and convincingly executed, these are two tracks that should get you racing to the download store.

1. ‘Sprint’ Actually more of a bold stride than a sprint, this effortlessly and elegantly strokes and sweeps along. Wonderful house music.
2. ‘Pace’ Fierce prowling bass counters the deeper elements of this track to create an infectiously entrancing crowd-worker. Just like ‘Sprint’, it’s masterfully constructed for full effect.

Dana Bergquist is undoubtedly one of Sweden’s most diligent and reliable DJs. Playing alongside the likes of Steve Lawler, Deep Dish, Sander Kleinenberg, Roger Sanchez, DJ Hell and Tiga, he can be seen every weekend at Stockholm’s finest clubs. His production work has recently taken off with his first release, ‘McEnroe’, on Desyn Masiello’s Symphonic Vibes label, featured on John Digweed’s first ‘Transitions’ mix album. Bergquist & Peder G have previously teamed-up successfully to produce ‘Pole Vault’ on Add 2 Basket Records.
